Which Stainless Steel Exhaust

Hi,
I'm thinking of changing the middle and rear section of my jts Gtv.
Which is the preferred "weapon of choice"?
Thanks

Wizard exhaust for that Italian rasp.

Alfaholics unsilenced centre and Raggazon silenced rear DTM quads IMO.

Alfaholics don't do an unsilenced centre do they?

Ah yes. Found it now

http://www.alfaholics.com/browse-par...on-unsilenced/

I've got a Ragazzon unsilenced middle pipe but I'm going to fit the Alfaholics silenced one, just a little too boomy for me with only the 2 rear boxes on.

I was running a stock system apart from the Raggazzon straight through middle pipe. This had a lovely rasp, quite subtle.

I now have Alfaholics front pipe and sports cat, the Raggazzon straight through middle pipe and the CSC 2 box rear section. The sound is amazing but just the wrong side of noisy for me.

I'm going to swap the middle pipe for the Alfaholics silenced mid section. I think it will then be perfect 👍

Both boxes are stainless, don't know why one is black in the picture

Wow I would have thought that black box would have done the trick for noise.

Hopefully a centre box won't make it to quite.

I've got a silenced ragazzoon middle, standard rear. I'm thinking of going for the Csc two silenced rear. Would the single silenced rear be a bit loud?

Mitch,

How did you get on with the Alfaholics front pipe and cat when fitting? I have been looking at one for my CF3 Twinnie but read a couple of reports on here about people having problems with the o rings where the down pipes join on to the manifold and with the lambdas not fitting which I thought was a bit strange given the excellent reputation Alfaholics have.

I had no problems with mine, fitted like a glove. Bear in mind mine is a CF1 but Alfaholics quality is well documented.

That's what I thought. I had heard nothing but good things about Alfaholics but a couple of people on here mentioned dramas with the CF3 replacement front pipe. I even spoke to Alfaholics about it. They were really helpful and said they were unaware of any problems but were very concerned about it.

Both my front flexi pipes were blowing on the V6, in the end Autolusso fitted the Alfaholics pipes for me, they are beautifully made and fitted like a glove. It's just a shame you can't see them. The exhaust from cat back is just standard and in okay condition, once it starts blowing, I'll see if funds allow for rest of the Alfaholics system. I do have a powerflex system on my TS Spider, which was made and fitted by a Polish guy who was very skilled and I've not had one issue with it. I do think it depends on who makes and fits it, if you get one made to measure. Alfaholics have got their design down to perfection, so you know what you're buying. As for the noise, that is down to the individual.
