I love car adverts that put everything that people see as a negative as a positive!

That said, it's a lovely car.

My spider came with the cloth seats and they were much more comfortable and 'immersive' than any of the leather versions available.Obviously, the first thing i did to it was put leather seats in cos they look nicer ,but he has a point

Cups have 1/2 cloth, to help stop sliding around, & everyone loves a Cup!?

I prefer full leather, as do most, but original cloth on a 19,000 mile car......I bet they're lovely.

Also cooler in summer, warmer in winter.

Having sat on the cloth seats in my Ph1 Spider, in terms of driving experience the order goes:

1) Alfaholics seats
2) Standard Cloth
3) Ph2 leather.

Can't comment on ph1 leather.

OK yes the leather looks better, but these cars are about the driving, and from just my point of view that's more important. I'll be keeping the cloth in mine!

Also, very true about the Cup seats Clive!

The Cup seats 'mimc' Ph1 but with cloth centre panels.

I don't have a problem with the leather, even Ph2, I think it's all about 'our different driving styles'......nuff said.

My comment wasn't aimed at anything in particular! Just something I have noticed on adverts these days more and more - akin to the "been quoted 20 to fix" or "it'll t-cut out".

And don't get me started on the addition of the Clarkson phrase on most Alfa ads!

I actually agree with the seller on some points - i'd rather have a genuine untouched car which hasn't been fiddled with in any way.

Looks like a lovely example (it's basically identical to mine but with half the mileage), though the aftermarket gear lever with alfa badge and clover leaf badges would be the first things I'd be taking off!

Why don't you ask the seller? It's nothing to do with 'us'.
