What should i look for?

Hello GTV owners. Going to veiw a GTV 3 litre phase 2. What do i need to check. Obviously ill check the oil and service history etc. The car has done 70000 miles and the owner says the belt has been changed and has a FSH.

I know my 147 inside out but the GTV is obviously a very different car. The thought of owning a mini ferrari is very tempting!!!

Thanks in advance.

Re: What should i look for?

Rear bushes - not such a problem on the v6 but worth a look
Oil cooler- the hoses tend to rust through give them a good look over. When they go the cooler and hoses usually need doing together.
Exhaust system - can prove expensive. I had to replace the front pipes on mine just after i got it at £500
Cam belt - make sure its been done.
Front wishbones - the bushes and ball joints tend to wear quite regularly. It may not be that obvious so check the inner edge of the tyre for excessive wear

There are probably a few more things to add so i'll post more when i remember - enough to keep you going though
