17" Teledials GTA vs GTV

Hi guys,

Which one of the above mentioned wheels is more valuable and the rarest?
We're talking about original Alfa wheels, not replicas.

And what about practical differences between them?
I know the GTA's are ET 35 and the GTV's are ET 40, or something like that.
I know the GTA's clear the 305 Brembos (obviously...), what about the GTV ones?
What about weight? Anyone know the weight difference between them?

Well, that's about it for now... Can hardly wait to read your comments!

Cheers!

Personally it's the teledials that get my vote as its original fitment. The GTA wheels just don't look right on the 916.

Fit them to the correct car!

GTV wheels to a GTV and GTA wheels to a GTA!! Simples

The GTV wheels will clear the Brembos on a GTV, not sure if the GTA wheels will http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/images/smilies/wink.gif (in fact I don't know!)

I've some spoked GTA wheels (ET 35) and they don't clear the Brembos on a Spider without spacers

The GTV wheels will be ET 30.5

Are you asking about fitment to a GTV or 156? (or something else again?)

Actually Rewe, I'm talking about fitting them to a 156 mk 1.

I'll be upgrading the brakes to Brembo in the future, so the fitting part is of some relevance, but I'll get to that later.

What I'd really like to know is your opinion on the rarity of the two and the actual value (and eventual future value).

Aesthetically I'm having a very hard time making my mind up, because I really like the way they both fit the car (there's even a thread on the 156.net forum with a red 156 with both wheels on).

And thank you Rich for correcting the ET.

Aesthetically the GT Blackline alloys on a 156 look awesome. For value i would say the GTV wheels. No idea if they make copies but there are copies of the GTA teledials so more of them?

156 V6, GTV V6

Both the GTV and GTA teledials will clear the 305 Brembos. The Brembo setup is the same for the v6 GTV and GTA in 305 size. There are loads of threads on here about what fits what if you do a search.

I have GTA teles on my vela blue GTV and they looks great in my opinion, but thinking about it they might work better with dark paintwork. You might want to use spacers though, they do visually narrow the track a bit.

In that case, I prefer the GTA wheels. I doubt there is much in it in terms of value though
