Knocking Brakes

Todays fun and GTV games appeared in the sound of a bad, ever increasing at speed and louder with distance knocking from the back driverside brake disc.

Removed the back wheel, found that the retaining screw? that looks like a threaded dagger with a pointy end? was loose, so tightened this up and took her out for a run, now runs without knocking. so if you get a knocking check that first.

Unfortunatly when i was returning the wheel bolts one is now spinning!! so i need to replace the nt although i think the thread on the disc is gone, so heres my question

If i change the disc will this sort my tread problem out is this all the wheel bolts screw in to?
