Rusty hole

I just bought a 1999 2.0 TS lusso and she has a bit of rust on the underside, which I am taking care of at the moment. In the middle of the boot floor I found a rusty round metal plate surrounded by a nylon seal, i touched it and it fell out, there is another rusty hole in the boot, due to previous owner tinkering with electric aerial and knocking off the pipe that drains the water away from the aerial, or perhaps using the car as a Taxi in a salt mine!! can anyone tell me what the round hole with the nylon seal is for? and can I get a replacement metal disc with nylon seal from somewhere?
Thanks, I love the car despite the previous owners neglect.

if the hole in boot is more of a "slit" and its in the dead centre towards the back its definatly meant to be there for drainage

Hi thanks, the slit is now a massive hole and there is a hole in the middle of the boot, are Gtv's all this rusty? I had a fiat coupe before this same age and it was rust free?
