Well folks its time to reluctantly sell my GTV. I've had her since my birthday in march 2009. Its been a labour of love on keeping it and running it and it survived an arrival of my little girl. It has been used as a daily drive and 'family car' but having recently purchased a replacement for my deceased saab 9-3 its time to sell.
Its a 1999 on a T GTV V6 lusso red with tan leather, aero kit.... 90k
Spec as follows, near full history, all MOT's and a box file of nearly everything spent since 2001. ( lease/company car for the first 2 years. Box file is close to £19k in reciepts
Bella has rear full powerflex, CDA fitted with all resonators removed. Quad exit custom exhaust with sports cat (100 cell i think) flexis done. GTA flywheel and clutch. drilled and grooved discs and sport pads.
This year the mot showed signs of rust underneath. I spend £600 getting the floorpan and all sills sorted and coated then undersealed.
A few weeks ago prior to BIAMF i had the paintwork sorted. Some laquer peel on the roof and pinked plastics. Had the roof and pillars done, bumpers, skirts, wing mirrors, and spoiler done.
A little over spray on rubbers to sort but in all a great job making the car look great.
Bad bits - I think the garage re used the thrust bearing on the clutch change and although the clutch is a year old and perfect and light, it is noisy. The front wish bone drivers side could do with replacing. The drivers bolster is torn and the handbrake surround is damaged.
