Reluctant Sale of my Phase II Spider

I have reluctantly put my Spider on eBay today, it can be found here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1708366583...84.m1555.l2649
Item number is 170836658339

I would prefer it went to a club member so it will continue to be well looked after!

It has a blue cloth interior, yes the car is in very good condition, it's a very reluctant sale, I just cannot justify owning two cars since I bought the GT Cloverleaf last January.....

Always a shame to hear, when such a cherished car is sold. Looks like a nice buy for someone!

Actually looking for £2500 - but will negotiate a little and throw in a few freebies like touch-up paint and diagnostic leads to reset ECU etc.

Its a nice looking car and seems to have been very well cared for.

At the price you want, you are going to be appealing to club members and enthusiasts - IMO you need to lose the stick on tat on the fuel cover.

Things like that put me instantly off a car, as rightly or wrongly I associate them with a certain type of owner.

Not meant in a harsh way, just offering a bit of advice.

GLWTS!

The fuel cover is by Zender, personally I like it on the silver Spiders, but it's only a personal preference!
Also fitted is an Alloy handbrake lever, gear stick and clutch, brake and accelerator pedals, again its personal preference but they look very good!

I know what you mean about bling and chav's and completely agree with you

The Zender add-ons by the way were official accessories advertised in the accessories brochure so although some may not like these things it is perfectly correct to have them.

I think its fair to say they split opinion!

In the same situation id be trying to appeal to as many people as possible.... i.e. get rid!

If I removed it then I would have to buy a new cover, the Zender cover is bolted on! I'm not desperate to sell it, I think if anyone was really interested in the car then and they didn't like the Zender cover then I'm sure they would remove it themselves.........

Thanks! It is a good example of the Spider, looked for a long time before buying it, I'm not desperate to sell and if it doesn't go then its no big deal!
