V6 Gearknob Recommendations

Another knob thread.

My gearknob is a bit grim.

I've looked high and low for a replacement for a 6 speed with lift reverse.

Most are blingtastic, but I'm after something subtle, similar to OEM.

I like the look of some of the MOMO ones, but £50 for a gearknob?

So what have you replaced yours with?

don't think of a top end gearknobs as waste of money. You can always swap a quality gearknob to your future Alfa
..having said that, here's my knob I installed not too long ago.

I need to get a new one at some point. This one looks quite oem so I'd be interested on seeing a pic of it fitted and your views if you go for it.

Here's mine. It's a Momo jobbie, I Bought it second hand from ebay cheap as the logo was worn. Managed to source an Alfa logo the same size (from a tie pin!) and swapped logos over.

Jobs a good un!

Nedle inna haystack came to mind when replacing mine in the 156 - tried a couple of ebay 'cheapies' & they were crap TBH

Eventually got this one brand new for a decent price & goes well with the console

What stereo is that you've got? Looks really nice with the P2 interior.
Bluetooth/MP3?

Have a look at this, i bought a 2nd hand GT/147 6spd gear knob off ebay for £20 + P&P

http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alfa-...on-my-gtv.html (GT/147 gear knob fitted on my GTV!!)

the seller said he had another but was a bit more worn, the 1 i bought has hardly any wear at all!!

I'm thinking about this gearknob but the problem is it says it's a screw on and doesn't use grub screws. Would this fit the GTV? I'd have to glue it on which could be a problem..
