Carpet removal tool for rear badge

The guide for changing the rear badge requires a tool to remove the carpet clips - or a bent fork.. As I currently have a shortage of forks does anyone know where I can get a suitable tool to do the job properly?

Thanks

Halfords do a multitool for trim, buttons etc, works O.K. Think it may have been around a tenner though so a new fork will be cheaper! Couple of flat blade screwdrivers will achieve the same result, take your pick, good luck

Ah you can do it with anything to be honest. It's just a matter of prising it out. Knife or whatever will do the trick, it's just the fork allows you to get leverage in any direction. It's not like they are a specialist clip that will only release with pressure applied in a certain direction. Last time I took em off I did it with me fingers!

Just checking.. I get really annoyed when I end up breaking clips as they're always such a pfaff to replace!

*Dave takes no responsability for broken or lost clips*

To be honest, the major faff with the rear badge is retaining your knucles whilst not loosing the little circlip in the inside of the boot shell, which I did at least 3 times.
