Yep thats right. My Giro is burning a hole in my Shell suit!
The take over of the garage is part of the reason why I'm selling but feel Maserati is next itch to scratch and have had my fun with the Cup. This is/was my 3rd Alfa GTV/Spider, my 1st car was a 98 Spider and I don't think it will be the last.
I will always look on 47 with fond memories as with all other cars I have owned and driven.
Plus you guys are just great

Giro? Hope things are OK work-wise BD.

Have you decided on which flavour of Maser yet? Seen any you like?

It's a joke. Think it was a quote from the good ol Phoenix Nights!
GranSport and seems like the GS prices are on the cheeky way up but you can never tell with Maserati.
1 min your car is 35k and the next 20k!! My safe money would be on a 3200 but like all things Italian. You by with the heart and not the brain!

I spoke with Alfa Aid about the 3200. Adrian there said he loved them but they can cost £10k per service if you're unlucky. The back box is £1200 alone, and if one of the turbos go you're looking at big money again. He advised the 4200 over the 3200, but I've heard owners complain that the power is a bit of a let down (or delivery of power) if you're trading up from a 3200, and I think the 3200 looks better too. It's a real risky car, a 'playing with fire' purchase... Oh, and watch out for rust on them too. I'd still like one though!

Wow there is a 3200 on the trader for £10k! only 45k miles. Crazy...

One beautiful car... Much like the GTV it doesn't need a bodykit or any flash stuff for it to be a jaw droppingly beautiful car.

Hey Big Dog I was looking at PH and saw your car (even though I'm in OZ...seeing all the unattainable...)

The engine bay looks stunning...how did you get the painting done? I'm sort of interested in doing it on my car.

De-greasing/cleaning the original cover (The longest part of the job)
Plenty of masking up
Primer and colour of your choice.
Then wet and dry paper to take the raised lettering and fines back to metal.

I did it when the GTA cams went in so I picked the covers and plenum up and did them then. I see a lot of the guys just take the tops off but I went the next stage down in the engine also when it was striped.
Fairly easy.

Enjoy it! I hope you have deep pockets for petrol money, as you never tire of driving them, or looking back at them, when you do eventually have to stop driving!

I love it when people say petrol is expensive.
Petrol is 1.07 a litre.
Bottled water is 1.69........
HAVE ANOTHER DRIVE!!
Enjoy her as I have and you won't go wrong.
She will always have a special place in my heart.

£1.07 per litre is expensive! Why have petrol and diesel prices closed up again?

I tend to use V-Power which is about 1.07.
The standard stuff I think is 1.01 at present,
so yes perol prices are going up again.
Dont forget the tax man has 65% of it so really its just over 35p a litre!
