How much to pay for discs and pads ???

Think i may need new pads and discs and possibly front pads and maybe discs

So far ive beenout quoted about £40 to £50 for pads front & rear, depending on which ones they are, and around £80 for the "high quality" ones

And £28 + vat for set of rear discs
And £80 + vat for set of front discs

Is that a good price or not?

Expensive for standard, cheap for performance.

Impossible to say unless you tell us what type of equipment and where you're getting it from!

Re: How much to pay for discs and pads ???

I'd recommend Fiat Coupe parts for them, you'll need to give him a bell, but I think my rear discs were £11 plus vat each and pads were £15 plus vat (all mintex) I'm running 3G 10 grooves on the front with EBC Red Ceramic which were, er £150 all in I think. Seeing as the front does the work, it's well worth the upgrade

Although they dont give an option for different pads, where as other companies do. Wonder if you could send them back if they werent the right ones

Re: How much to pay for discs and pads ???

I had rear discs and pads on my V6 recently, got the parts dirt cheap (around 60 quid the lot plus VAT), plus a big dollop of labour on top.

From my local Ford franchise of all places...
