as already confirmed, yes indeed. can i just stress tho (soz pud, u know wots coming), i didnt put that spolier on it when i had it.
i sold it to a lad who fiddles about with loadsa alfas who owns a used car lot. i dont think he's on here tho. sounds like the lad he sold it to was a bit of a wolly. the only basis i have for this judgement tho is the fact that he used to have a mitsubish GTO and i seen his ebay advert when he was selling it which was just full of lies. although the GTO is a good enough reason for me. tee hee.

He said it was 310bhp in the eBay advert.. I think everyone knows you can't just squeeze 60bhp out of an N/A petrol engine with a chip, induction kit and exhaust.. His explanation for the advert was that that was what the previous owner told him. He also told me it had lowering springs as well as coilovers fitted .

Can't have known his cars that well then. Yes, there were receipts for Apex springs as well as coilovers, but does anyone know how you can have both fitted at the same time? He was pretty adamant

Weekend toy: Alfa 156 3.0 24v V6, Silver with red leather, Q2 diff, GTA Teledials, headlights & inlet manifold, AutoDelta carbon intake, BMC CDA, decat pipe and SuperSprint rear box, FK coilovers, Dastek Unichip - my 245bhp beast!

Gone but not forgotten: Alfa 156 2.4 JTD Veloce, Vela Blu, Angel 'mad map' & BMC CDA, Ferodo DS2500s - the fastest tractor in town!

Re: 156 / 147 GTA Buyers Guide

Important question as I'm ready to buy a 147 GTA: The owner is gonna change the cambelt before he sells it (works at a Alfa Romeo specialist) and he says he will replace everything needed including the waterpomp. I asked if he will replace it with a metal impellor sample, and he said Alfa Romeo probably isn't making the plastic one anymore, so he thinks it is from metal. Can someone verify if this is true?

Sounds logic to me as the plastic impellor was a clearly weak part, so upgrading it would be obvious.

Regards.
