I'm sure Adie builds his own, he is an engine builder.

Re: AHMotorsports

Surely you fellow GTA owners are interested in their 3.8 conversion kit. Looks very inviting and a lot cheaper than the autodelta option.
All that needs to be done is the boring out of the block.
Is there anyone here who has had this done?

can't comment personally about AH's workmanship but by all accounts it's first class.

Re: AHMotorsports

Sure all mechanics most probably is carried out well, but what about the electronics? The ECU must surely be remapped after a conversion like this?

Re: AHMotorsports

Adie's main market for the 3.8 engines is for racing, which means full race ECU's, not just remapping a std ECU.

Adie has his own rolling road too.

If you contact Adie direct, I'm sure he will provide any info you need.

Re: AHMotorsports

Adie's work is first class, one of the best engine builders imho. Big V6 kits almost certainly come via S.A. Glenwood motors.

Re: AHMotorsports

Im really starting to give these guys some thought. My conscious is telling me not to mess with the block but is rather spend money where the real gains are.

Re: AHMotorsports

I am seriously considering getting a Q2 diff fitted which is listed on their site, I need to get the belts and front anti roll bar done at the same time. At the moment it is a toss up between going and giving them a go or going back to Alfa Aid who I haven't used since I had the 75 about 5 years ago, but always found knowledgable and didn't a brilliant job.

Re: AHMotorsports

Dawie(Glenwood) and Adie(AH) use different brand internals so each do their own conversions. Take your pic between. I know Dawie does some nice work, that has come straight from one of his US customers. Try him for a quote on a 3.7 crate motor, The exchange rates were quite favourable a while back, may still be?

As said before, Adie at AH does very good work.

Re: AHMotorsports

Yes, I have rebuilt my own 3.0 litre 24 valver with a 3.8 litre conversion supplied by AHM. Adie's work is 1st class. Fire away with any questions ?, john.
