Exchange mid silencer - or not?

I'm about to order a new exhaust for my 156 GTA, and have decided to go for CSC.
My question is:
Is there any performance reason to exchange the mid silencer as well, seeing that the one I've already got looks fine?

No-one got any suggestions then? What is the benefit of changing the centre section pipe for a silences centre section? Any benefits? Freer flowing? Or no point unless the whole system is changed???
