Scratchy Noise....

Does anyone else have the same experience when starting their car, from cold?
Its a scratchy noise and Im thinking perhaps starter motor or can anyone else suggest anything?
Any remedies for this?

Sounds like a sticking starter motor?

I had a similar issue with my 2002 147, it was close to trade-in so didnt bother looking for a fix. But I believe a good cleaning can help.
