The part number from the Dension website is ILPRBP8CR1. Probably best to phone them if you are unsure.

Re: Dension icelink with connect+

Thanks Oldboy but I want the part number from somebody thats actually bought and installed it - I can see the part number on their site, but it doesnt list the Magnetti-Marelli made Connect+ as one of the Alfa supported players (the part number you listed is for the regular blaupunkt cd's) It may well turn out that the part number is the same but Id somebody thats done it to confirm first.

Re: Dension icelink with connect+

I went through the same uncertainty before I bought mine, this is what I know.

You wont see the Connect Nav+ listed as supported by Dension because officially it isnt. It will only work if you flash unsupported beta firmware onto it.

eg on this link http://www.ipodcarkitdirect.co.uk/iP.../Compatibility

it says Please note: This adapter is not compatible with the Alfa Romeo Navigation manufactured by Magneti/Marelli.

I bought a Blaupunkt one used off ebay and flashed it. Works a treat.

As I understand it the one for Alfa, Fiat or Blaupunkt is the same. If you search the web on the Dension part number ILBP0834 you will find lots of places selling the unit as Alfa / Fiat / Blaupunkt.

I just found a link with all the part numbers, you can see they are the same.

http://www.speed-detectors.co.uk/cat...lus-p-152.html

Hope this helps.

Re: Dension icelink with connect+

I can confirm as the other guys said, it does require a bit of flashing, but it works. There are a number of updates here..

http://www.halmaclean.co.uk/dension-files/

Think i used the 2.15 version, it shows 5 playlists on the first 5 entries in the cdc screen in the connectnav+ unit, you have to have your tunes in playlists. but as i said it works.
