mp3 in my gt

can anyone tell me why my mp3 player sorts tracks by number on the original album rather than by burn sort order? is there a way to re sorting the tracks?

Any help would be appreciated.

Is this a data CD with MP3's on it? Or an Audio CD that your Burnt from MP3's?

You could try renaming them presumably in alphabetic order as required.

Some MP3 players have this annoying habit.

Only way around it is as Keith says, rename the
tracks.

Most rippers will allow you to do this, so


Artist_album_track#_tracktitle.mp3

should do it for you.

put a number in front of the directory e.g 01-album name, 02-album name, 03-album name etc.

If it's like the guys above say a really good track tagging and renaming application for windows is TagScanner
