Italian Electrics are something else.... not just cars but aircraft also (but that's another story).
I love Italian cars but each one I have owned has had its repertoir of electrical glitches, and the GTA is no exception. I've not had the headlight washer sketch but then I did have them disabled at an early stage because the pop-up panels tended to randomly stick in the open position, and I eventually had one go AWOL due either to high speed aerodynamics or high pressure car-wash (my story is that it was the car-wash

)
I've also had occasional spurious security alarms, audio failures when blipping the door lock/open functions, and more recently selespeed system failure warning.... which really did get my attention because the car was genuinely imobilised for 10 minutes whilst I switched electrical power on & off several times until the gremlins sorted themselves out.
Anyway, none of this detracts from the pleasures of Italian car ownership (especialy Alfa) and my only regret is that I've missed out on the sidewalk granny-soak experience
