Cardiff Alfa to Close

Just put my GTA in for a service and front suspension recall at Victoria Park Cardiff this morning.

They tell me that they will be closed from the end of March.

I have asked alfa uk whether a new franchise will be opening in Cardiff

Re: Cardiff Alfa to Close

I had the same info confirmed to me last week, the site shuts up on 31st March. The word is that Alfa are planning to open up a direct showroom in Cardiff that will be operated by them and not a franchise. There is nothing on Victoria Park Motors website giving any information. IMHO the closure of this dealership is no loss, the service I have received is appalling, I had already decided I would make the hour drive to go to Eric Ashmoles in Swansea in future before I heard of this.

The guy that runs the franchise also operates Victoria Park Mazda next door so I would hope the staff get alternative positions there (some had already left and gone there).

Let us know if you are lucky enough to get a response from Alfa UK

Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday , and all is well!

Re: Cardiff Alfa to Close

I agree that there's no great loss here. I had my 156 serviced at Victoria Park for it's first 3 years, and received very poor service. For the last 2 years I've taken it to LC Motors in Newport instead. Their service is infinitely better (and cheaper). They even provide courtesy cars!
