Re: Mitch's new Snotgreen super wagon

I absolutely love that colour - nice car! Then again my first 156 (2.5) was the dark green colour they used to do...

I hope you enjoy your new car Mitch, and I hope it treats you well. It sounds like you're already having fun with it.

I wasn't sure if Alfa was stupid enough to put an antenna on the roof of their wagons, but sadly it appears that is the case. I really don't understand manufacturers who sell wagons, who sell roof racks, who expect their customers to use their cars to haul everything from Christmas trees to canoes, but who stick an antenna in the middle of the roof, thereby creating an impediment to use. (This isn't meant to sidetrack your thread Mitch, it's just one of those issues that bug me whenever I encounter it.)

Ian, JCS told me they could do third year warranty work as its the same warranty as fiat(dealer). saying that though you must still be in the second year, you could always wait!

em er, replica it will be!

True for the normal GTV/GTJ, but some of those replica's, Max Bank's Car for instance, are faster than a standard GTA Stradale by some margin

When I look at the restoration proces of Max Bank's replica, I think the investment maybe close to the price of a real GTA if they had done this major project for a customer and not for themselves. But now they only invested hours (and materials) and not hours times rate
