147 GTA CD Changer

Hi guys

My GTA did not come with a changer. Do any of you know what make/model of changers are compatible i.e. can plug straight in?

I have the standard head unit.

Cheers!

Re: 147 GTA CD Changer

Hi E.E,
Just been out to my Bella Bruto;
All I can tell you is that its a Blaupunkt changer, pulled back the boot carpet to see if there is a visable serial no. or something. But cant see 'ought.
I'm sure some of the other bella owners can tell you more...
But until then.........

U'll need realplayer for the images.

Brilliant - thanks a lot for that!

Was hoping to maybe pick up one off ebay. Bit off putting trying to drive in a spirited fashion whilst chaging CDs

Re: 147 GTA CD Changer

In the '04 UK Alfa Price list, the Autochanger is an option at £390.
Along with:
Sunroof- £605
Met. Paint- £270
Iridscnt. Paint- £1300
Sat.Nav- £1820
Xenon lights- £505
Sports Leather seats- £860
Comfort pack- £200
Climate pack- £150
18" alloys- £650

Thats a lot of £££££'s worth of extras, especially shiney white paint

Re: 147 GTA CD Changer

Not yet - as my previous experience with Jaguar was that their unit was £550, but a stock Alpine one which was the same apart from the Jaguar sticker was £150.

However - I may be being harsh on Alfa so will give the dealer a shout.

Re: 147 GTA CD Changer

Hi EE,

For that amount of money I would buy an i-pod and the dension adaptor, much better than the autochanger. IMO

Have a look at the Blaupunkt website. To help you mine uses an 8 pin connector,

Mark

Hi there, the model fitted is a Blaupunkt CDC A-08, this was then succeeded by the CDC A-03 which is in a nice silver finish as opposed to the black. I purchased an A-08 off E-bay and hooked it up to the original HU then an aftermarket one on my 147 Lusso, now its in my GT.

Here is a few:

I personally think the last one is a steal (honestly I am not the seller! ) Also Stef provided an excellent guide to fitting:

Hop this helps?

Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday , and all is well!

Well Happy Re: 147 GTA CD Changer

Oh Man....
My friend just sold his Blaupunkt CDC-A03 on EBAY last night.
He had one bid only and it was sold for something like 28 quid.
It was in almost new condition.

What a shame.

Anyways, fitting the Changer is a breeze.
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Re: 147 GTA CD Changer

Arrrgh!

VeloceMitch - how much do you want for yours?

I am absolutely useless with a spanner, but there is a Blaupunkt shop just round the corner from my work, so I will pop in there for a quote for fitting.
