Very exciting!!! I will have my GTA in 1 week time

Hi all,

Some of you may know me in this forum (not this lounge).

I am so exciting that I going to pick up my 156GTA soon . I should hand in my exciting car to the new buyer this week. (finger cross everything going smooth).

My coming 156GTA is an 2003 car, Alfa Rosso with black interior plus factory sunroof. It has only 10,000 km. owned by a senior person. The car is like brand new showroom condition. The protection plastic film is still on the side step trim.

After 4 years of ownership of current 156 2.0 . I have no complaint about the car and it is never boring for me. I still like the shape even the existing facelift version or coming 159. But I still like the original 156 look with the correct colour Rosso. 156 GTA is very rare is Australia. Therefore I made a decision to purchase this car that I believe 156 GTA should keep its value after few years.

Can't wait for next week.

As you know, I will be hounding you for some Great Ocean Road drives, as the weather is getting near perfect in Melbourne.

Damon gave me a drive in a Red 156 GTA (with black leather) a few years ago and the the memory is ethched in my mind. I can't wait to see it.

I still remember waiting outside the dealer for it to open to pick up my 147 GTA after a sleepless night.

After 3 months, every time I drive it, it puts a smile on my face - you forget how good it is.

There is no better cure for the blues than turning the key and bringing the glorious V6 into life.

Today my 2.0 TS is in checking process in Alfa dealer that the buyer requested. Hopefully it does not have any trouble that I need to spend money on it.

I will rather spend money on the GTA.

I will never forget the day that I collected my 147 GTA... I have owned and raced some serious Lotus competition machines in the past, and driven a couple of Ferrari's in recent years, but the excitement of collecting my own 147 GTA eclipsed all of the above.

The engine noise is fabulous: - As you probably now know it starts with a deep grainy base, which progresses into an agressive growl, which then escalates into a 7000 rpm + howl/whoop/bark,scream ... I just love it !!!
