5p off Shell fuel until end of the month

Someone posted this elsewhere in the forum, but thought I'd also add it here, as it's especially useful for GTA owners

What?!! How come? I can't believe that, especially after they were dishing out 5p off vouchers like sweeties last week to anyone and everyone on the forecourt.

Worked in Congleton.

Of course I ruined the saving by deciding to give Nitro+ a go, at 8p a litre more expensive than standard.

On the website that advertised the offer there is a link entitled find locations.

My closest is 19 miles away, not worth the gas to get there.

Bit of a con really.

I did see that button now I think about it but wasn't sure if that was actual participating stations of just your nearest?

Just checked and my nearest one doesn't come up so it must be the participating ones. My nearest is about 15 miles away!

The one i tried does come up in that list but they still refused. There is another one close by so will try that next week. Both are owned/manned by Asians whose English is not great so it is very hard to explain or argue with them. Both are in Oldham area.

Hmm well that sucks.. thought it was simpler than it really is -- that link has stopped working, so here's the new one - https://www.bespokeoffers.co.uk/cons...t-shell--fdf9d

Edit: it's only the more expensive garages around me doing it. There's 3 or 4 nearby that are always about 3 or 4p dearer than 2 other local garages, for no good reason.. and it's those more expensive ones that have the offer. Quel surprise! Total con.

It's obvious petrol is rigged. If it was transparently priced the wholesale price would be public, not buried.

The profit has been moved to the oil companies , so there are not big enough retail profits to sustain independent competition , even with convenience store turnover from the shop.

Yes. Thanks again for this. My wife was able to use it at a Shell garage near Solihull, that didn't appear to be on the list.

To make up for this slightly dodgy offer as it turned out... there is a small offer going on at the moment with Shell, getting you £20 of fuel, for £10. Backed by moneysavingsupermarket, so should be fine.. Shell Drivers Club Loyalty Card 50% off

So I'm back with some more petrol discounts -- it's another Shell one, but this seems to work at all Shell garages, which is nice. 5p off - EDIT: Incorrect URL, see below for the right one

You've linked to one that expired a week ago.

As it happens, I've just got back from using the first voucher on this thread for a second time.

Sorry, grabbed it out of my browser history, must have got the old one by mistake -- here we go -- https://www.bespokeoffers.co.uk/cons...t-shell--b6fcf Download voucher by midnight, valid until the 9th.

I now have tesco 10p off vouchers, and shell vouchers for 5p off, both ending on the 9th.. with a track day on the 10th
