how much 24k mile service?

Just wondering how much roughly I should expect to be paying? Got a while to go but want to get it out of the way before the 2 year proper manufacturer warranty is up in September, as I want to get the dodgy trip computer sorted. Do all dealers supposedly charge the same fixed price?

If it helps you get an estimate, my 20v is going in on Monday for its 24k. Its costing £275 at Piccadilly Motors N.Yorks

It seems to have forgotten what a mile is. I knew that a 3.2 wasn't going to be as economical as my 1.4 Punto, but still expected better than I used to get with my old integrale. First sign was on a motorway trip it reckoned it got just over 20mpg, then when I did a trip that I knew to be 35ish miles the trip only read 24ish. The odometer is correct and if you go by the trip display on the speedo it shows a true mile, but doesn't tally with the trip computer/infocenter.

My old one did that! The trip in the speedo would say for example 200 miles, the trip on the info centre said 110. They fixed it by changing indicator stalk and whole new speedo. Was quite annoying because the mileage was then zero again.

That is a bit annoying, hope it doesn't come to that. It's just odd that the two can read different distances, I would have thought they got their information from the same sensors. Which one on your car was reading wrongly? the trip or the speedo?

The info centre trip was under reading. I think there is only 1 sensor, but the problem is that it misses the signal sometimes (or only recieves half of it or whatever).

Apologies, I just re-read your earlier post and you had clearly already said that. I was at work, and had prying eyes seeing what I was upto LOL Thats my excuse for not paying attention any way.

Off the top of my head you are looking at about £250 for a 24k service.
