GTA Blues

Hi all

Due to changing financial circumstances and the ridiculous increase in my insurance costs (some **** damaged both panels on my driver side without leaving any details...) I have decided it may be time to get another car.

However, I am not going to sell the GTA and have decided to buy an old banger. This will hopefully get my no claims bonus back and save a bit of £ on petrol in the interim

If anyone can give me advice / tips on garaging a car that would be most appreciated. I know it is not ideal but I cannot sell her!

Cheers

Dave

My plan exactly towards the end of the year.

Regarding your insurance, have you tried a limited mileage policy?

If you are not planning on moving it in a while, leave it in gear with the handbrake off, and pump the tyres up to the maximum pressure indicated on the sidewalls.

It is better to take the battery off and leave it off than to leave it on the car to go flat.

Thanks - great stuff.

No limitage mileage policies in Guernsey, nor will they let me have it as third party fire and theft.....

Seen a lovely Honda Accord on a local site here - that is going to be one hell of a motor!
