What do other GTA owners do for a living?
This may have been asked before but I'm interested to see what other owners do for a living - what type of people are we? Don't be shy!
I'll start, I'm a salesman... I sell a range of IT security services into medium and large businesses, so I'm not your clichéd cold-calling type
I rarely bring the car to the office as it's city centre and easier to take the bus, but on the occasions I visit a customer and they see the car they absolutely love it. It's not too flashy, but representative of a person who loves their cars.
So how about you guys?

I'm an apprentice technician at a Toyota dealership. I break things and sweep the floors
Work is a 10min cycle so my GTA is a weekend toy and gets compliments from the most unlikely of people.
I really should be working now to be honest but Iv eaten too much and not feeling very mobile or awake

Sales advisor for a ski company. Not cold calling. Cycle to work most days, 8 miles each way, so only really use the car when raining or have somewhere to go

Build websites / promote them on google -- also help my mum run a beauty salon with the marketing, branding etc. Luckily I've not been asked to get involved in back sack and cracks. Walk to work & car sits outside the window, wanting to be taken for a blast as soon as 6pm hits. 13,000 miles in a year, 100% pleasure miles! *feels bad*

Oh, you do "strategic selling" or "solution selling"........ A salesman is a salesman at the end of the day. The only thing that differs is the size of their commission (Did 7 years in presales for business application software companies myself).
Cheers,
Nigel

Haha, solution, relationship, SPIN, customer-centric, high-probability... all methods I use depending on the type of customer and deal I'm working on. Then again you techies tend not to like us guys very much anyway
This is an interesting thread though guys - keep it going!

I'm a chartered building surveyor. It doesn't pay as well as it should (it is a real ball ache to join the RICS, they really want you to suffer before they let you add their letters to your name - it keeps the riff raff out though). I can at least afford petrol.
I used to use the GTA daily for surveys but I get the train these days.
