Eibach ARBs

I just want to let know everybody who planned to purchase Eibach ARB kit for the cheap price on alfisti.net that they are not available anymore They just cancelled my order that they are out of stock even though their online store says differently. Expected availability is hopefully end of July.

I checked 147 kit only , 156 kit is different and they might still have it.

EDIT: I just got the same feedback from one German eBay store. ARBs are in Eibach production plan in the next 2 months.

Just prob more demand than hey can supply. Alfitsi deal with many countries so sort of expected.

Its Eibach. They only do limited runs when they have enough interest as they make alot of OEM parts for other people which I am guessing is far more profitable for them.

I have seen the posts, but I guess both did that to make some profit and if you add the postage across Europe to me on top of that and the current GBP/EUR exchange rate I think I´ll just wait :-)

Thing is that I will be removing the subframe soon to swap the engine so replacing the ARB was something logical for me

Alfa 147 GTA

I got mine from Alfisti about 3 months ago and have since had them fitted.

All the looseness in the OEM suspension has been removed and of course no body roll....the best pound-for-pound handling improvement you can do on the GTA.

So your wait will be worth it....

Alfisti.net got a batch of ARBs from Eibach, so they are back in stock for some time. Mine already arrived

How many hours labour to fit these? I may take a plunge but if it costs the same again for labour maybe not!

Depends who does it but subframe dropped for front so I would say 3-4 hours for both. I had full front suspension replaced, arbs fitted and gtv manifolds fitted, brake pads fitted for 550 (asked for 600). But I reckon a bigger out fit would probably be 800plus. I asked a well known specialist for a clutch change and they quoted 750 . Prob gonna buy a cg Motorsport clutch for 200 and pay the labour to my local specialist and still don't expect to pay more than 550 total.

3 or 4 hours is about right - I paid 4 x £40 to get them fitted.. although the guy didn't do a great job and left the subframe undone amongst other things. Was just the local garage though, not an Alfa specialist. Regret that! Was trying to do it too much on the cheap.

I know a good chap who is £35/hr. he works on jags normally.

I'll wait until Monday evening. By then the euro will have collapsed after Greece votes for the raving lunatic party.

And a fine job you did there, she's like a different car now though I haven't had too much chance to properly test it with sitting on the motorway in the rain all weekend with sister telling me to 'slow down and stop racing that Porsche!'
