So...Might just keep it.
Now i definitely know what's wrong with the suspension on my 156 GTA (Cheers Joss!) and it's a really simple and maybe free fix, i've considered keeping the car.
I've been driving like a granny although it's damn hard to do what with it going like something brown off a greasy stick and i can persuade 90 miles out of £20 of fuel (14.40L at last fill) at the moment so economy's not so bad.
What can i do to further improve the car and the general drive? i've noticed the car seems to handle better with weight in the boot, i'm guessing that's due to the balance being shifted, should i permanently leave something heavy-ish in the boot and/or move the battery, or is moving the battery considered a no-no by the purists?
Brakes all round are a "to-do".
What would a remap do for performance and economy?

Remap doesn't do much.
Eibach ARB's... at least you don't have to touch the shocks to fit them!

If you stick weight in the boot you are going to be lugging more stuff around, hence less mpg.

OA - the ARB's are standard, but replaced within the last year, so they're not getting touched for a while although if i could get a rear one on it's own, i would replace that because it's a doddle.
Keithy, true, but a better drive....even taking the spare wheel out makes it feel more nose-heavy.
