147 GTA, Indicators & Roundabouts

Scenario - Approaching a mini-roundabout, indicating right, start turning across roundabout and car coming towards me continues straight on narrowly missing me. It's as if I hadn't indicated.

The first time this happened I checked that the indicator was working (it was). I know people are generally crap when it comes to roundabouts but I've experienced this too many times now for it just to be that. I'm begining to wonder if it's a case of the indicators are to small, or to low? Has anyone else with a 147 GTA experienced this, or is it just me???

No Rosser, it's just the other drivers mind that is to small. And probably low too.

I have experienced it myself, and I concur, the indicators are too low, not bright enough, and not where people would expect them to be (on the edge of the headlights)

They are also very poorly built, they are constantly misted up from the water penetrating, and I've had one detaching, the little metal clip that attaches the indicators to the bumper is istelf held in place by a very small piece of plastic, very fragile, Take one off you will see what I mean.

Sad to see such a great product as the GTA affected by lousy finishing. I have dust INSIDE the dashboard, behind the glass, never seen this

Glad it's not just me experiencing this! I had the same problem with water in the indicators. Got them both replaced uner warranty and they seem to be okay now. Finishing - yes a real shame, it takes the edge off of what's an excellent car.

Yeah me too, everything you've all said, I'll go back to my dealer and get mine changed before it's too late.
They should have put the fog lights down there and the indicators in the usual spot.
