Motor Warning and Fan

Hi there Cookie_gta and others. Any update on your Motor warning and fan problem?

I can tell you I have experienced this problem with my 156 gta for the last few years, 3 out of 5 starts when the weather is around 5°C and below. When the engine has really warmed up and I restart the engine the warning goes off and the fan works as normal.

Never experience it during milder and summer weather.

What I have noticed recently is that as soon as the warning light appears the fan goes crazy, previously it would cut in after a mile or so. Really annoying. In other years I think we changed one sensor and did all the diagnostics and reset that part of the circuit but no permanent fix.

I hate the cold and so does my mean machine!

Anybody else out there shed any light on this?
