Autodelta or supersprint exhaust?

I am thinking to upgrade my 156 GTA with a sport exhaust (centre pipe + rear box), and in my mind i have autodelta and supersprint now. Any comments / advise / suggestions upon these two brands?

Auto delta is a re badged Raggazon exhaust, supersprint has good proven gains - speak to Ghosty dog about this one.

If I was doing it again id go for the pud/wizard Unicorse replica myself over the CSC on my GTA

I heard the autodelta one on a gta while at autodelta last week. Sounds nice. Purposeful increase in loudness. It is very raspy. Think m3 metalic sound and that would be close.

I've had Ragazzon on my previous twinspark 147 and Supersprint on my GTA.

Ragazzon

Unsilenced centre + single oval exit backbox = loud, droney but sounds fabulous when booting it, lots of resonance and raspy at full throttle, droney and headache inducing in normal driving

silenced centre + single oval exit backbox = quieter and more liveable with day to day but you loose the raw edge to the tone and the rasp goes completely. Normal driving is less droney.

Supersprint

unsilenced centre + twin exit powerflow back box = throbbing midrange with a howl at high rpm that sounds like a jet turbine (sounded bloody awesome on a rolling road). Characterful sound that changes throughout the rev range from a low throb at idle throughout the midrange disappearing towards the top end. Doesn't resonate too deeply and at motorway speeds you can't hear it at all until you drop a cog and floor it however it is not as loud as the Ragazzon system so if your after noise then maybe the SS aint for you, alternatively SS do a Race rear box which Operation Alfa had on his 147 which is a bit more RAW but not really supposed to be for road use... I honestly think the powerloop setup I have is a perfect compromise a true all rounder, but then it does cost twice what the Autodelta/Ragazzon setup does.

I have this mated to a stock engine with only addition being a K&N drop in filter and removal of the air intake to the air box. Seen 262 bhp at rolling road but a slight drop in PEAK torque. I've heard Ragazzons on other GTAs and 3.0 GTVs and it appears Ragazzons MO is to produce raw exciting sounding exhaust systems when your cooking but for every day driving I find them a bit droney.

Others may disagree but that's just my opinion having had various setups with both manufacturers.

as already said, exhaust sound is personal preference hence why you will get different opinions

I think the Scorpion GTA exhaust offers great value for money compared to supersprint and autodelta. In my opinion these are over priced for what they are.

The 156 GTA system is due out next week, either full decat, or cat back for only 350 all in if you join the AO
