Re: GTA Roadwatch (was it you?)

I saw a light green metalic 147 GTA near some town just before Stonehenge (you'd never believe I was navigating !), can't remember the name now - on our way to sleep on the grass verge overnight and get the early morning ferry from Poole.

There can't be many that colour.

Re: GTA Roadwatch (was it you?)

Saw a lovely silver 156 GTA SW today, on the A27 at Shoreham Airport.

First SW I've ever seen on the road!

(still prefer the saloon though! )

Sounds like the diff might have blown, might have taken the gearbox with it. Weren't you trying to sell your car?

100% sure that the diff has gone through the gearbox - exact same thing happened when mine went! - sorry to hear about the the news, I was lucky as it was covered under warranty. I then had the Q2 fitted with the new box.

Sounds like the diff

I think we live in the same town toast - I was looking quite admiringly at your car on Pistonheads recently Shame this has happened

One silver lining ... gives you chance to put a Q2 in there

Saw a Black 147 GTA in Keighley last weekend and waved at the driver who waved back, saw a Blue 147 GTA in Huddersfield (most mornings actually) and a Red one on Caldedale Way in Halifax on me way home tonight...

Common as muck

Re: GTA Roadwatch (was it you?)

Is it true that only 400 147 GTAs were originally registered in Britain?

That could well have been me!

Was staying five miles or so to the north for a couple of days while my nephew was graduating (or whatever they call it in the Navy) from HMS Raleigh at Torpoint.
