yes it is worrying to see these fine cars drop in value so quick. But these are uncomfortable times for gta ownership and its not going to get cheaper.

Wow, another bargain GTA.. This one has heated seats as well!

Might stick a low-ish offer in but I see he's had 5 already, 3 of which have been declined. :hmm:

Re: Cheap 156 GTA on Ebay

I think that the main reason for the depreciation of alfas are the alfa owners. Thats rediculus. Looks like a tidy car from the pictures

I reckon it looks awesome in Cosmos. I think I may have even seen this GTA in real life before, as I saw one in York last summer in Cosmos and it looked stunning! Very rare colour so I reckon it could be the same one..

Re: Cheap 156 GTA on Ebay

The main reason for an Alfa depreciating is because its an Alfa.

And by definition, an Alfa is expensive to run, expensive to repair, expensive to service and is in all likelihood likely to give an above average number of problems. I should know as I've owned these ****** things for years. Still keep coming back for more though.

Re: Cheap 156 GTA on Ebay

Not in a position to buy really.. 3rd year student, not much money and would have to sell my car first.

I'm really starting to think about getting one in about a year though. I know performance-wise it wouldn't be anything of an upgrade besides the brakes but there is just something special about a GTA that my V6 doesn't quite have..

Ditto! I think if I had the choice of any colour on a GTA then Cosmos would be in the top 5. With Maserati White

I'm not keen on the grille though..

Just had my offer refused. I made a low-ish offer which immediately came back refused. Does anyone know if there's a limit to how many offers I can make?

Re: Cheap 156 GTA on Ebay

no limit.... the offer system works in the way that it will auto refuse offers below a set amount.

Re: Cheap 156 GTA on Ebay

This car looks the biz! If I didn't already own a beauty then i'd be buying it at the "buy it now" price now! It's in a rare colour, got 330 brake upgrade and a full set of eibachs. It was on pistonheads a few weeks ago at £7500 and the seller was after an rs4 at the time. The guy selling it now took it as a part ex against his rs4. I can't believe you guys are making "offers". My advice is if you want it pay the buy it now price! Now!

I've just made a few offers, highest being £4995 and they were all immediately declined.

I can't afford to buy it at the buy it now price. Chances of me getting one this year are slim..

Re: Cheap 156 GTA on Ebay

Pud237, i reckon the seller will want very, very near the £6295. He probably gave the previous owner the trade book value when he took it as part ex against his rs4. £6295 will be the figure he hopes to get in return or if not very very close to this.

Re: Cheap 156 GTA on Ebay

Just noticed someone has stuck a "3.2 V6" badge on the left hand side of the rear. You should get some money off for that

Now why would you want to give it a 3.2 badge??
