Best Upgrades for a 147 2003 GTA
Hi
having had my GTA for almost a year now and loving it to bits, it's time for some upgrades so was wondering if there are any recomendations. Initiially I was thinking of a new exhaust, my box is a bit rusty, and maybe a new suspension system. Also whats the thought on upgrading the brakes with hoses also as mines a 2003 its got smaller diameter discs.
Thanks
Harvy

Q2 would be my choice of first upgrade, followed by stainless back box(CSC, Supersprint....), then 330mm brake upgrade.

Cam belt, idlers and tensioner if it hasn't already had them. Oh and water pump with metal impeller - that's an upgrade!

If its a 2003 it might not have had all its belts changed yet.. This is priority number one, after E.E.'s trauma this week..

The Ragazzon contre pipe and backbox exhaust is also good.
But I would recommend getting the cambelt done ASAP

Re: Best Upgrades for a 147 2003 GTA
Anyone upgraded the bulbs on their gta? (for those of use too poor to have Xenons ) Anyone tried those blueish bulbs?
Would like to improve the light from the car as I dont think the lights are particularly bright. In fact, I was never impressed with the light generated by any Alfa I've owned.
Thinking along the lines of this stuff: Philips X-Treme Power H7 from Power Bulbs
Worth trying for £30 I suppose

I put the Halfrauds brighter lamps in when one of my dip beams blew. Slightly better light and they did a 2 for the price of one so good value. Easy to change too (10 mins) despite the horror stories you read.
