They'll need cambelts straight away.... so that's another (min) 800 already.

Mine is very quick to rev, much better than my bros 147 GTA. Think its down to the e3 exhaust system.

Re: Brand New 08 GTA's!!

according to the dealer the Gta SW was a personal import to Australian via a German dealer who went bust, hence the car got lost in the system until the finances where sorted. this is my 11 Alfa from the dealer so would be disappointed if it wasn't the correct history

Do you thing so? If the dealer offers 2 years of warranty I thing that the brand thinks that if you don´t use the car the cambelts will be in good condition.

If the car has sleep in the garage and so it hasn´t be in extrem conditions i thing it will not be a problem.

156 GTA Sele

Re: Brand New 08 GTA's!!

Well after a 10 year Alfa sabbatical I have bought one of these GTA's. A red 156. I was planning on buying a new car in September - one of these -

Alpina D3 (if they had any left now replaced)
Alfa Brera Prodrive edition
Mitsubishi Lancer EVO hatch - or whatever they will call it
Audi S3
Honda JDM FD2 type R

Then it all went the shape of the Pear. Never wanted a s/h GTA as I always feared it could have been owned by someone like me

They are all on a ship en route from Malaysia at the mo. ETA end of April. I do have concerns on the effects of 'storage' but at £17,995 I have saved such a wad over my 'top 5' that I don't care.

My last Alfa was a 1750 Kamm tailed Spider (1971) to say I am excited would be a gross understatement, April's gonna drag.
