Hmmm GTA Brakes; Bleed Valves

Hi all,

can't get to the GTA right now, but need the following information:

Can anyone please tell me the specs (length/thread) of the brake fluid bleed valves, front and rear (not of the valve itself, but of the whole valve assembly)?
Car is a 2002 156 GTA SportWagon with the original (Brembo) brake calipers (305mm front disks - no, not Brembos, but TarOxes )
And BTW, how many bleed valves are there, anyway ?

Please do only post if you are ABSOLUTELY sure of the specs... The ones that I intend to buy are 18 Euros each...

Thanks,
QuRace

There's 2 per caliper on the front and 1 per caliper on the rear.

The fronts are an 11mm spanner size. Can't tell you any more than that.

Why would you need to replace the bleed valves - previous owner messed them up?

.... Ah, no. They're just, ahem, rusty! I'd like to replace them with stainless steel ones. Please don't start laughing until I'm logged off...

Anyway
There is only one size of bleed nipple on that page.
1/4x28

I'm beginning to suspect that I'm completely on the wrong track... I thought (as I wrote: Can't get to the GTA right now ) that a bleed valve consits of a bored screw (parts no 2034-xx or 2035-xx in above link) AND a bleed nipple (2039-xx). But, come to think of it, the bleed nipples probably screw directly into the brake calipers...

Note to self: Spend more time working on the car!
