Exhaust pipe

The exhaust pipes on my year old JTD GT Blackline are very discoloured.. is this normal?

No.Try using some of the stuff you get to clean alloy wheels, just don't leave it on too long.You could maybe post this question to Roy in the Car Detailing forum.

If it's the stainless tailpipes you mean, Solvo Autosol, strip of cloth, buff using the strip in a sort of belt cross-over movement, if you get my drift? Like pulling the twine back and forth on the stick, until the tinder material ignites? Nice high, bright, shiny pipes.: Yep! Hi! and welcome.:
