I am taking my 156 3.8 with Quaife sequential gearbox, so if anyone is interested in either conversion it would be a good opportunity to see it in action
Hi Ned, I was up at Bedford over the weekend...noticed a red GTA saloon sat in the car park...not yours was it?
Do you anticipate any problems with driveshafts with the extra power? Just asking as I stripped a driveshaft on Saturday...I was trying to take it easy...mainly on the brakes...but must have stayed out too long or been a bit gung-ho coming out of the corners. Was the off-side...there are quite a few harsh left handers being an anti-clockwise track (was the sen track). I should have left at 3pm instead of going back out for that one last, last go round!
Yer that was one of my GTA's I left there after the track day, not my 3.8 though
Drive shafts are becoming an issue with GTA's as used ones are getting very thin on the ground. I am sending one to Quaife today to quote on making new stronger ones made. Which part of yours broke? I had one in Australia snap in the gearbox, picture attached
