day and date problem on my 156 GTA!

how do i get the day to correspond to the right date of the month and year.
example
date to day is monday 7th jan 2008 but my monitor on the dashboard reads monday 6th jan 2008.
if i change the date to the 7th of jan 2008 the day changes from monday to tuesday.
please help

There are a few threads about this, you are not alone if that helps

It is to do with the leap year, think it sorts itself out come March.
