I thought I'd got away with it......

It took a year but finally my gear knob has decided to join some of its pals in the parts bin and detach itself.

Well, here's to a carbon replacement. Every cloud and all that!

Is there a carbon dash inlay to match? Have only seen red, white and silver.

No point doing things by halves.

16000. Not bad. Having inspected the broken clips it is unsurprising it came away.

Mine was a demonstrator Dan, (had no car after selling the Brera and didn't want to wait 4 months) so may have been built before the knobs were built better

My knob broke after about 16000, tried gluing, no joy, popped into dealer and the nice girl gave me a new one, with some special white glue to keep it in place, it's now firmer than it ever was

So is mine. Do I have this to look forward too sometime next year? (Currently on 4850 miles) Perhaps it is only a minority it happens to. (says he hopefully)

In a few months Dodge Dart owners will complain about the same thing..

Look at the interior pics of the Dart's gearknob. Looks exactly like the Giulietta's...
