Hi to this forum, my G QV arrives tomorrow

Looking forwards to picking up my G tomorrow. It's an Alfa Red Cloverleaf, 61 plate 4 month old demo with 4k on the clock, extras are: Sunroof, heated seats, folding mirrors and Tom Tom prep. Loved the test drive but, sad to see my Brera S go. What handling!

Just wanted to say Hi to all G owners on this forum, looking forwards to using it in the future, and just hope your all as friendly as the nice people on the 159 / brera forum, and I'm sure you all are .

Saw my dealer again today - my QV due to reach him this week (presumably that'll have either been this afternoon or will be tomorrow)

Now just got to wait to find out from FGA exactly when they will be collecting my Brera and then I can agree a collection day for the QV

You'll love it! Compared to the Brera it will feel so much quicker and nimbler. Wait till you get it into D mode and floor it, hold tight

Thanks Jamie, I'll keep an eye out for you.

Picked her up this afternoon, think she might be called "Gina", yet to see what Mrs Marzy thinks. Definately faster when in D than my Brera S 2.2, even modified but, not as steady or grippy in high speed corners. Prodrive certainly delivered with that package and steering feel with the S is worlds apart from a standard Brera.

While not the fastest car I have ever owned, it seems to have almost as much grunt as a Focus ST I get to drive fairly regularly, and can certainly be classed as a proper fast Alfa. Off to the Midlands tomorrow as Mum is in Hospital so, looks like we will get well acquainted on the journey. yet to get a comfy driving position though
