Hi guys,

last night a warning came up on the dash of my partners Giulietta with a numberplate light out. (Sure enough the rear numberplate light was out...)

However the dipped headlights won't work either, both side lights work (daytime running lights), and the main beam headlights are fine.

There's nothing to say why the dipped headlights won't work, but obviously the car isn't usable in the dark anymore. Any thoughts on what this could be?

I can't find the tool to start pulling fuses out and there doesn't seem to be a clear fuse that would need looking at anyway!

Thanks in advance

I agree with this advice, the LED running lights can disguise a bulb being out and there is no warning message.

I'll add this advice, since pulling the globes/bulbs can be tricky for some people.
Rather than removing the globe/bulb, remove the electrical connector to the globe/bulb and use a multimeter or a spare bulb to check you are getting power to the headlights.
