Hi there, I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a a clip for the dipped beam headlight bulb for my G please.
Had a bulb go recently and discovered the previous owner had lost the clip and used adhesive to hold the bulb in place.
Apparently Alfa expect you to buy the whole headlight unit and don't supply the clips on there own. I don't want to fork out for that especially as the clip could end up lost again.
Thanks TOX1C, yeah it is a H7 one. Do all cars with H7 bulbs all have the same type of clip then do you know? I didn't know if they were model specific.
You would think so, but on my daughter's Fiat 500 it has a sensible plastic bulb holder for the H7 lamp that just twists to undo and do up. So much easier than the G arrangement.

Like said above, the clip probably fell inside while trying to replace a light bulb. take a flexible stick, attach a magnet to its end and try to "fish" the clip.
They fall off really easily fella and its not uncommon for people to end up taking their car to a dealers after losing their patience!
The tip is, before releasing the clip to change a bulb, tie a length of sewing cotton to it so that if you do drop it, you can retrieve it without to much effort. Id suggest you do the same before attempting to fit a replacement if that's what you decide to do.
Cheers for the tip, I shall most definitely do that.
