Hi a couple of my alloys need refurbishing, need to get a spare wheel to put on while they are in and standard g wheels are quite expensive, does anyone know what wheels from other alfas or even other brands would fit the same as originals? mine are 17" turbines.
Saab 9-3, 9-5, Vauxhall Vectra, astra, meriva, zafira but not the newer (2010 on) astra or the insignia. Brembos are an issue, but if you have standard calipers you'll be fine, or if just repairing a wheel or two put the standard wheels on the front. I had a set of Omega alloys on mine with winter tyres & it looked better than you might imagine - photo attached. Watch the width & offset though. Although standard Vectra/Astra steels are 16", they have the same offset (which is good) but they are 1/2" narrower (6 1/2") so sit further into the wheel well. Look for an offset (ET) of 41, down to 35 if the wheels are narrower.
While we are talking wheels, Stupid question it may be, but the standard space saver does clear brembo brakes doesn't it?
Also, do the 17" turbines fit over brembos as my 18" variants also need a refurb.
