Alfa put 350 units on the Chinese web site Tmall prior to the Shanghai motor show, it took 33 seconds for them to sell out. Saw my first one on the street in Shanghai yesterday. Spec wise I'd say it looked veloce.

In Shanghai you enter a lottery for the mega expensive license plate unless you already have one, in either case you wait a few weeks until its issued and use a temporary paper copy. The Shanghai plate allows you to use the elevated roads in the city at the times which are restricted to out of town plates. Rough cost of the plate is 10k sterling at todays exchange. Those caught by the police breaking the curfew hours pay a fine of around 22 quid. Lots of people risk it and get out of town plates at a fraction of the cost.
