figures will be way better since 2.0s only appeared for test drives, and veloces only since december are available for ordering. misano blue is about to join paint options for veloce what will add a bit as well to sales figures. i expect mid year sale figures will be representstive.
also usa marken only started, and china is to join in some time.
figures as far looks promisding for a success.
sport vagon would be good option to boost european sales, though for the moment it is not the one to come, pity.
While I was on one of the Millbrook tack days I'm sure Naz mentioned they hoped to sell about 5,000 Giulias in the UK in 2017. Doesn't sound a lot.
Apart from my own I've not seen a Giulia outside of a dealer's premises -she thinks she's the only one in the world now
Well given that the first RHD reviews started appearing on that day, I think it really was the UK press launch. Maybe they did actually prioritise cars for customers.
It might make sense as well that with the TV advertising starting in Jan people are now aware and will be more receptive to seeing reviews, and the magazines have had a few months without a review so they could justify running another.
... also it ties up with some publicity and reviews of the Stelvio launch at Balocco
ANE are reporting that
a) Alfa sales have passed the 1k in a month in the US for the first time since the return (vast majority being Giulias)
b) Giulia sales in Italy have been brisk in June
When the Stelvio arrives in the US they should be looking at 2-3k sales a month in total, so upto 36k sales in the US which is pretty good as a starter..
Use this site for sales data. Usually they update first with sales info for each country.
1.466 Giulias were sold in Italy for June. A total of 4.700 Alfas there.
For France it has gotten up to 1242 sold Alfas in June. Spain - 513. USA - 1017
Other countries will be updated soon
Sales seemed to have started catching up and doing better and better each month. Overall things look good for Alfa - EU sales may have hit 3k for the Giulia in June.
I agree wholeheartedly with you on the Jag. It is so slab-sided and bland. It's like someone took a children's wooden toy model of a rear-wheel drive sedan, scaled it up and then added "Jaguar lights!!!" to the front and back. So very, very meh.
well if the Russians can send a monkey into space and we can send a bozo to Eurovision, then Australia must be in Europe now LoL...Australia sales up 85%
