Alfa 8C Video on youtube

Hi Guys,

Just saw this Video on youtube and a couple of things did suprise me:

YouTube - Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione "some facts"

At 2:30 pointof Video, the technical guru says:

"...the engine is 8 cylinder V9...V9"

Ummm...I don't get it....what's a V9? I thought this engine was

4.2 litre 4 valves per cylinder 32 valves in total

Or does he mean its a 8 Cylinder 90 degree ???


Also I was aware a lot of Carbon fibre was used in the body but not all of the exterior panels....

Yes, he mentioned 8 cyc, v9, meaning the cyc are at 90 Deg.
Can be a bit confusing:-)

It's a 4.7 litre and, yes, all of the body panels are in carbone-fibre..
