I hadn't noticed how the top of the 8C dash is very similar to the 159/brera

Just got my subscription copy of Evo, a great Alfa read!!!

They have the 8C review 4.5/5 and the new Brera S (4/5)

Anyone else really ****ed off with Alfa for making the 8c in limited numbers? Given the cash I'd choose one over any other car on sale today (with the exception of a Zonda S).
I cant even look forward to being able to afford one in 10-15 years 'cos they will still be worth a fortune.
Surely they could sell as many as they could build - internal politics I guess? Idiots!

it was always a 'halo' model. It would also take sales away from Ferrari, as I believe the £111,111 price is cheaper than the lowest Ferrari (i could be wrong).
In addition, I don't think there's enough space on the production line for a prolonged life, as the forthcoming Maserati Gran Turismo convertible is, I believe, lined up for the 8c's production slot.

Maybe I should have bought a Maserati 3200GT when I had the chance (Chances of getting an 8c are virtually zero! )- Look similar from a distance IMO, just noted that for the first time on the small screen! Rear out fun

By making them in limited numbers they make them much more desirable and an instant classic car. Pumping them out like vauxhalls would make them like vauxhalls. They aren't idiots, they know what they are doing, building a brand again.

Yes...your exactly right....it does not take away the fact that Id have to spend all my pension on one...and then not be able to afford to run it still a superb car

politics .. they could have made it MUCH faster .. and they could have easy out sold the ferrari california. But thats the way it is ..
