cheers David! i knew they were WIDE,
but not that wide
i seem to recall the original cars had tubular subframes? ie no poxy torsion bars etc! but as with everthing Alfa, not all were done this way.... just tubular reinforced std body?
It is ALOT of work to recreate an IMSA series 2 car, from what would have been a std road shell (i have been researching this for months now) but IS do-able (if you have alot of cash)
a kit is available....
3500 euros for full carbon
1800 euros for std grp
both prices plus vat and carrage tho...
then you have wheels.... probably minimum £250 each + rubber
then theres suspension (would need extensive re work, with minimum travel)
and to top things off, do you, or do you not continue to allow the rear doors to open???!!!
now, having developed a 300bhp+ 24v engine, this work iam willing to do (all be it ott for a road car) because in my opinion a turbo evo kit is not aggressive enough.....
